If you are inside the Mediacom Online network you can access your e-mail using your e-mail client.

If this is the first time you are starting Outlook Express you will get an internet connection wizard after opening the program. If you get this wizard, skip to Step 5. If not, begin with Step 1.

1. Launch Microsoft Outlook Express.



2. From the Tools menu, choose ccounts (the Internet Accounts window will appear).



3. Select the Mail tab.



4. Click Add.



5. Type your name (ex: John Smith)



6. Click Next.



7. Type in your mediacom email address (ex: j.smith@mchsi.com)



8. Click Next.



9. Select "pop3" from the drop down box.



10. Both the incoming and the outgoing email servers are "mail.mchsi.com".



11. Click Next.



12. Click Finish.
