Basic Hub Troubleshooting

  1. Verify the computer name and workgroup
  2. If correct proceed to Step 4.
  3. If not correct enter computer name and workgroup, reboot computer and try
    connecting again.  If still unable to connect; proceed to Step 4.
  4. Remove computer from the hub and connect directly to the cable modem. If
    the computer is then able to connect, it is a hub issue in which you need to
    refer back to the Hub manufacture for further troubleshooting and or
    replacement of the hub.
