If you are a business customer, once you have purchased a persistent IP from Mediacom or signed up for a business package that includes a persistent IP address, complete the following steps:
Type "www.walledgarden.mchsd.com" into the web browser address bar using the computer or device that will be assigned the persistent IP.
On the first page, you will need to enter your account number and registration code so that we can access your account in our system.
Next a page will display the current services that are active on your account. Go to the "Persistent IP" section, and click on the "Manage" button.
On the next screen, click on the "Add" button.
You will be prompted to enter the name of the computer that will be assigned the persistent IP. We will record this name to track the device that is being assigned this persistent IP. (i.e. file server).
Next, click on the "Submit" button and a screen will appear telling you the persistent IP has been successfully added.
Finally restart your computer to complete the assignment of the persistent IP.
