To subscribe to newsgroups in Outlook Express 5.x for Mac follow the steps as outlined below:

1. In the folder list on the left in Outlook Express, select the news server that you previously set up


2. If this is the first time you have used the news server selected, you will be prompted to download a complete list of newsgroups


3. Click OK to download the list (please note, it may take a few minutes)


4. If you are not prompted, or are looking to refresh your list of newsgroups, select GET COMPLETE NEWSGROUP LIST from the VIEW menu


5. In the list of newsgroups, click to highlight one, and then do one of the following:


• To subscribe, click SUBSCRIBE (each subscribed newsgroup is displayed in the Folder list beneath the news server)


• To unsubscribe, click UNSUBSCRIBE
